Getting Involved in Your Association

There are a number of ways to get involved in your association -
and the more you get involved, the more you will benefit! Here a few ways: 1) Join a Committee - With a variety of committees, there's bound to be something that interests you. Check out the list of available opportunities and sign up. Committee appointments are for one year at a time, and most committees are not restricted. 2) Networking / Social Events - We offer a General Membership Breakfast three times a year that is FREE to you. We also hold Membership Socials throughout the year at various locations in our market. Also free, these events are a great way to network with your fellow REALTORS! 3) Great American REALTOR Days - Interested in politics? You should consider attending Great American REALTORS Days to see how we travel to Tallahassee to lobby our state lawmakers. 4) Apply for our Leadership Academy - We offer a Leadership Academy for potential future leaders of our association. Read about it and see if it's the right opportunity for you! 5) Run for Office - When you have some experience under your belt, consider running for a seat on our Board of Directors. And down the line, you might consider running for an Officer position. |
