Contributions to RPAC made by individuals or
non-incorporated firms are split three ways. First, the funds are collected by the Daytona
Beach
Area Association of REALTORS, then sent on to the
Florida Association of REALTORS (FAR).
FAR
keeps 70% of each dollar, and forwards the rest to the National Association of REALTORS.
The remaining
FAR funds are used to support statewide candidates, as well as the local
board entitlement program. This program allows local boards to earn RPAC funds to support
local issues and candidates by meeting and exceeding RPAC fundraising goals set by
FAR.
